Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts Admission Process

Applicants to Ohio University's Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts are encouraged to complete the University application process by the November 15 Early Action Deadline for priority consideration for University programs and benefits. Applicants who meet the February 1 rolling admission deadline will be considered on a space-available basis. Students may apply after February 1, but space in the Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts is limited, and decisions about admission to their intended fine arts major may be delayed.

Beyond admission to the University, many majors within the Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts are more selective and have additional requirements, such as an audition, interview or portfolio. For priority consideration to more selective majors within the Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts, applicants must complete/submit all requirements by Monday, February 16, 2026.

Applicants to more selective fine arts majors who meet the February 1 rolling admission deadline for University consideration and the February 16 deadline for fine arts requirements will receive decisions about their status with their more selective major by March 1. Because all applicants to the College of Fine Arts receive holistic review, students may receive decisions on a different timeline than their peers. This is not indicative of students' admissibility, and a decision that is released later than others does not mean that the student is less qualified or less likely to be selected for the major.
