TRAFFIC PATTERN CHANGE ON HILL RD (SR 256) -PLEASE BE ALERT AND DRIVE WITH CAUTION

Beginning Monday, July 6, a contractor will be working on the construction of the new center medians. This work will involve closures of the inside (left) lane of traffic in both the northbound and southbound directions.

Further Information

All lane closures will still be in accordance with maintenance of traffic regulations-all northbound lanes open 6 AM to 9 AM, all southbound lanes open 4 PM to 7 PM.

Additionally, the work will result in the marked lanes of traffic being shifted with pavement markings, so please be aware of these shifts.  You can expect to shift several times as you travel the corridor, as these shifts will be implemented where median work takes place, and not as a single shift thru the whole corridor.  Please follow the markings, as there will be times where the right (outside) lane is driving on the existing concrete gutter.

The contractor will continue to work on the outside lanes during this time, particularly at the far north end of the project near State Route 204.
