The Voinovich Academy builds public service leadership capacity in our region and state so those leaders have the tools to make a difference.
The Voinovich Academy offers professional and executive education programs to support current and future leaders serving public and nonprofit organizations. We build today’s leaders into tomorrow’s public service champions.
The Voinovich Academy is named for Senator George V. Voinovich, whose nearly half-century of public service was a living example of servant leadership. He encouraged the development of practical and innovative solutions to challenging public problems, pioneered the concept of public-private partnerships, and was deeply committee to the importance of educating and mentoring citizens engaged in public service.
The Voinovich Academy builds partnerships with public and nonprofit organizations to provide workshops to targeted populations. We do this through single session leadership engagement activities as well as multi-session customized leadership training.
