Why Ohio?

Sarah wanted to move away from home for college. She chose Ohio University after falling in love with the college town feel, brick streets and beautiful campus.

Once a Nerd…

Sarah has been interested in technology ever since she was a kid. “I like how technology is always changing and becoming more advanced,” she says. And her experience at the McClure School gives her confidence in her career choice. “I know that if I am the one creating and supporting the technology that I will always have a job,” she said.

Activities

TSMA secretary; vice president of the women’s rugby club; works part-time at The College Bookstore on Court Street.

Down Under

Sarah is planning a study abroad trip and internship combination in New Zealand for the spring of 2014. After graduation, she hopes to continue to travel by volunteering for Teach for America or possibly joining the Peace Corps.
