How to Apply

Incoming Freshmen

Applying to Ohio University can be done by navigating to https://www.ohio.edu and clicking "apply" in the top right corner of the home page. Once admitted to the Scripps College of Communication, students can declare their major in ECT.

Transferring From Within OHIO

To transfer to ECT from another major at Ohio University, students must:

• Fill out a transfer information sheet
• Fill out an update of program form
• Have a minimum 2.5 GPA
