University Libraries partners with the following publishers and OhioLINK to offer coverage of some types of open access (OA) fees through our subscription agreements. These discounts and fee waivers are all submitted at the time of your manuscript submission.

BioMed Central & SpringerOpen
Ohio University Libraries OA membership with BioMed Central means researchers affiliated with our institution will receive a 15% discount on all article-processing costs when publishing in any BioMed Central or SpringerOpen journal. Review the submission guidelines for how to request the discount when you submit your manuscript.
Cambridge University Press
Authors at OhioLINK member institutions may publish OA journal articles in Cambridge University Press journals at no additional charge to either the author or the institution. To be eligible to publish open access at no cost in a Cambridge journal under this deal, the corresponding author of the article must be affiliated with an OhioLINK institution. IOP (Institute of Physics)
Corresponding authors from OhioLINK institutions are eligible to publish original research and review articles open access at no cost to either the author or the institution in all journals that participate in IOP's transformative agreements, including most of its fully open access and hybrid open access journals. Wiley
Authors at OhioLINK member institutions may publish OA journal articles in 1,400 hybrid journals published by Wiley at no additional cost to either the author or the institution. To be eligible to publish open access at no cost in a Wiley journal under this deal, the corresponding author of the article must be affiliated with an OhioLINK institution.
