Practical Matters and Necessities

Practical Matters and Necessities

Whether or not you are moving to a new city, meeting basic needs and tending to practical matters is an important part of daily life. When your basic needs are met and you can easily access services that will help you take care of practical matters, you are more equipped to learn and grow in other areas of your life.

To ensure that your OHIO experience is built upon a solid foundation, the International Student and Scholar Services team has compiled resources to help you find employment, housing, places to purchase living necessities, available cell phone providers, financial services and local shipping options. Additionally, you can learn more about taking care of practical matters such as obtaining a photo ID and security card and explore external immigration resources.
