Our team of peer advisors will support you and your fellow incoming international students during International Student Orientation. 

The peer advisors offer a contact for questions or concerns you may have, and support or guidance as you manage life in Athens, Ohio and begin to navigate your first semester at Ohio University.

About Me: My professional background spans journalism, teaching, and human rights advocacy. I have worked at Ghana’s state broadcaster, the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, as a broadcast journalist and television show producer, gaining experience in news reporting and current affairs programming. I also have over five years of experience in human rights as a Project and Communications Officer with advocacy, serving the POS Foundation in Ghana, where I supported initiatives focused on access to justice and human rights. In the United States, I have worked as a Research Assistant with the Institute of Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Purdue University Fort Wayne and as a podcast editor for the Jewish Historical Society. Additionally, I served as an instructor of record for a public speaking course at Purdue University Fort Wayne for 2.5 years. I am currently a teaching assistant and the President of the African Students Union at Ohio University.
