Yarelis Tovar
Yarelis Tovar is an interior architecture graduate with a background in interior design and hands-on experience in project coordination, luxury residential staging, and millwork design. Based in Miami, she has worked closely with design teams on high-end projects, supporting both creative and technical phases, from concept development to on-site installations. Her work reflects a balance between aesthetics, functionality, and execution, shaped by real-world experience in fast-paced design environments.
Yarelis pursued interior architecture to deepen her understanding of how spaces are constructed, experienced, and brought to life beyond surface-level design. She is particularly interested in the relationship between spatial planning, materiality, and human experience, with a focus on creating environments that promote well-being and intentional living. This approach is reflected in her thesis project, which explores sensory-driven design within a wellness-focused setting.
Throughout her academic and professional journey, Yarelis has developed strong skills in design development, documentation, and project coordination. She has contributed to multiple residential projects, working on furniture planning, material selection, and installation processes. Her thesis project, Sanctuary of the Senses, demonstrates her ability to integrate concept, technical resolution, and user experience into a cohesive architectural proposal.
Yarelis plans to continue growing within the fields of interior architecture and project coordination, with a focus on construction documentation and on-site project execution. She is interested in pursuing opportunities that allow her to bridge design and construction, and is considering further studies in project management or construction-related disciplines to expand her expertise.
