Sierra Young is an interior architecture graduate living in Marysville, Ohio. Raised in a small-town environment, Sierra developed a strong sense of connection with those around her, which sparked her interest in how spaces influence everyday life. This early curiosity grew into a passion for understanding how homes function for families, leading her to pursue a degree in interior architecture. Sierra aspires to build a career as a residential interior designer, creating thoughtful and functional living spaces.
Sierra pursued interior architecture out of a passion for understanding how spaces function and how they can be improved. She believes a home should be designed to support the individual, rather than requiring the individual to adapt to it. Her goal is to create environments where people feel comfortable, at ease, and truly at home.
Throughout her academic and professional career, Sierra has worked on a diverse range of projects. Her academic training provided a strong foundation that she has built upon through professional experience in commercial tenant renovations and residential remodels. She now holds a full-time position at a residential remodeling company, where she contributes to both the company’s growth and the success of its designs. These experiences have strengthened her ability to design functional spaces that meet the needs of a wide variety of people.
Looking ahead, Sierra aims to continue developing her career as an interior designer within her current company. She is eager to expand her knowledge and gain further hands-on experience in the field. Each day brings new opportunities for growth, fueling her excitement for the future. She remains open to new challenges and opportunities as they arise.
