Riley Hardman
Riley Hardman is a graduate of Ohio University, where she earned a degree in Interior Architecture with a minor in Studio Art. Based in Chicago, Riley is passionate about creating human-centered environments that foster connection, functionality, and meaningful user experiences.
Riley was drawn to interior architecture for its ability to balance analytical problem solving with creative exploration. She values the opportunity to design spaces that not only look compelling but also enhance how people interact, feel, and function within the built environment.
Throughout her academic career, Riley has developed a strong foundation in evidence-based design and technical skills. Her participation in the Steelcase NEXT Student Design Competition strengthened her ability to create thoughtful, research-driven solutions. She is proficient in tools such as Revit and Enscape, allowing her to effectively communicate design concepts.
Riley continues to grow professionally through her internship with HSB Architects + Engineers, with a goal of gaining more real-world experience in interior design. She looks forward to pursuing a career in Chicago, where she can contribute to impactful projects and further develop her expertise in commercial interior design. Outside of design, Riley enjoys puzzles and reading, which support her problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
