Olivia Jobe
Olivia Jobe is an emerging interior architecture designer driven by a deep commitment to creating refined, people-centered environments that elevate everyday living. She has graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture from Ohio University, where she developed a strong foundation in both conceptual design and technical execution. Olivia approaches her work with intention and discipline, consistently bringing a high level of care and attention to detail to every project. Her background reflects resilience, independence, and a dedication to personal and professional growth.
Olivia’s path into interior architecture was shaped by her desire to make a meaningful impact on how people experience their environments. After earning her associate’s degree in early childhood education, she began her career as a full-time nanny and household manager. Through this work, she developed a strong ability to understand routines, anticipate needs, and recognize how thoughtfully designed spaces can support daily life. With a growing passion for creativity and problem solving, Olivia returned to school while continuing to work full time, demonstrating determination and a clear sense of purpose in pursuing a career in design.
Throughout her academic journey, Olivia built a diverse portfolio that reflects both creativity and technical skill. Her work includes projects in adaptive reuse, residential design, and workplace environments, highlighted by her thesis project, *The GatherWell*, a community-focused third-space concept. She also developed a workplace design concept as part of the Steelcase NEXT Student Design Competition. In addition to her design work, Olivia has been recognized for her strong work ethic, leadership, and ability to balance full-time employment while successfully completing her degree.
As she enters the professional field, Olivia is eager to contribute to a collaborative design firm where she can continue to grow as a designer and gain hands-on experience in commercial interior architecture. She is passionate about creating thoughtful, functional environments that enhance well-being and support real-life needs. Olivia looks forward to building a long-term career in the design industry, continuing to learn from experienced professionals, and making a positive impact through purposeful, people-centered design
