Chiquita Beam

I remember being fascinated with drawing and the smearing left over on my fingers after finishing an art project. Later, drawing buildings, getting into real estate, and deciding to put them all together. This started the interior design movement within. Chiquita Beam is an interior architecture student and real estate professional based in Greensboro, North Carolina. She is the founder of Beam me up nonprofit and is currently developing her design brand, focusing on creating functional, culturally responsive, and experience-driven spaces. With a solid foundation in both real estate and design, Chiquita brings a unique perspective that bridges property development and interior environments. Her academic work explores innovative and research-based design solutions, including her current thesis focused on the psychological and spatial impact of “haunted” or emotionally charged environments and how design can influence human perception and well-being. Chiquita is actively moving forward and excelling in her design career. She is enthusiastic about using design as a tool for storytelling, social impact, and transformation, while also helping clients visualize and maximize the potential of their spaces. Through her work, Chiquita aims to build a multidisciplinary practice that merges real estate, interior architecture, and branding into a great client experience.
