Ash Mcilrath
Ash Mcilrath is a Seattle, WA based designer, originally from Cedar Falls, Iowa, and a senior Interior Architecture student at Ohio University (B.F.A., expected 2026). With nearly a decade of experience in luxury furniture showrooms and design studios, Ash has developed expertise in showroom management, procurement, merchandising, client relations, project coordination, and high-end residential sales. Their professional experience with luxury brands and design firms helped shape a deep appreciation for interiors that are both beautiful and highly functional. Ash’s long-term goal is to build a design practice focused on high-end residential and small commercial interiors, with an emphasis on sustainability, historical preservation, and biophilic design. Travel also has a great influence on Ash’s designs. Having visited 10 countries and counting, they bring a broad, worldly perspective to their work. In their free time, Ash also enjoys painting, drawing, upholstering furniture, and documenting architectural details from around the world. These creative interests continue to inspire their evolving design voice and passion for meaningful interior environments.
