Alysa Rachkoskie

Alysa Rachkoskie is a proficient drafter with five years of professional working experience based in Southern Maine. She specializes in 2D and 3D modeling software technology and is responsible for construction documents other employees use for fabricating and erecting building systems. She has an associate's in engineering and architectural design from York County Community College. Alysa also attended Sanford Regional Technical Center for two years during high school, where she developed a love for architecture and design. She is currently working towards a BFA in interior architecture at Ohio University.

While attending Ohio University, Alysa was able to gain and hone valuable skills that help with her current career and future ambitions. Skills like space planning, material selection, lighting plans, and 3D modeling were all wonderful skills that were strengthened in preparation for the industry. She also very much enjoyed being able to communicate and occasionally collaborate with peers who shared her similar passions for design.

Alysa is a positive and dedicated employee who encourages others and enjoys being a productive team member. She’s dedicated and hardworking when it comes to not only her career but also outside passions. In her free time, Alysa enjoys a myriad of different hobbies. Some are more physically demanding, while others are for leisure. She enjoys hiking, reading, painting, and spending time with family and friends.

Alysa’s ambition after receiving her bachelor's degree is to continue her education. She hopes to receive a master’s degree in architecture. Ideally one day she wants to be able to open her own business/firm. Having as many qualifications and education as possible will help on the journey. Alysa almost exclusively does commercial projects as a drafter, but her true passion is working with residential projects. This is why she plans to specialize in residential architecture and design when opening her own firm.
