Addison Griffith
Addison Griffith is a graduate of Ohio University from Ashland, Kentucky, where she developed a strong passion for design and a deep interest in how spaces influence people’s mood and behavior. Growing up in a close-knit community, she gained an early appreciation for the built environment and how thoughtful design can shape everyday experiences. This foundation led her to pursue a degree in Interior Architecture.
Addison chose interior architecture because of her curiosity about the relationship between people and the spaces they inhabit. She is especially interested in how design decisions can impact behavior, comfort, and overall well-being. This passion drives her approach to creating intentional, human-centered environments that balance function and aesthetics.
Throughout her academic and professional experience, Addison has worked on a range of project types, including commercial and educational spaces through her studies, as well as healthcare projects through her work experience. She secured a full-time position through her internship at an architecture firm, where she will be helping establish and grow the interior design division. These experiences have strengthened her technical skills and deepened her understanding of designing for diverse user needs.
Looking ahead, Addison plans to continue growing within her current firm as she builds the new interior design division and expands her professional experience. She is excited to gain more hands-on opportunities in the field and further develop her technical skills. Over time, she remains open to where her career may lead, following new opportunities as they come.
