Libby Smith
Libby Smith is from a small town in Northern Ohio and grew up in a family
naturally inclined toward design. Her father worked as a handyman, giving her early exposure to construction and design as he completed an addition to their family home. Her mother, with an innate eye for decorating and home styling, further inspired Libby’s interest in creating meaningful spaces. Together, her family background laid a strong foundation for her path in the architecture and design field.
Now a senior student at Ohio University in the Interior Architecture program, Libby is passionate about creating spaces that tell stories and make people feel at home. She believes great design extends beyond what is seen—it's about what is felt: comfort, connection, and a sense of belonging. She will graduate in the spring of 2026 with a BFA in Interior Architecture and has ambitious plans to pursue her love for residential design.
Outside of her academic work, Libby enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with her new puppy. She also cherishes time with her nieces and nephews and looks forward to building a career that allows her to balance her professional goals with her family aspirations.
