Kaitlin Buechter
My name is Kaitlin Buechter and I am from Trov. Ohio. I graduated from Troy High School. I have had a love a design since I was I was younger, helping my family with wall colors, decor placement, and furniture layouts. I applied to this program without hesitation so I could pursue what I am passionate about.
Tam a senior at Ohio University and will be graduating with my Bachelors degree Interior Architecture and Design. As I continue to create stronger designs and gain experience in this field, my love for design grows. Over the past 4 vears at Ohio University, I have done projects for both residential and commercial places. This has allowed for me to find out what type of design I would like to pursue.
Iwas an intern for Arhaus furniture store for 8 months. Buring my time there, I gained experience in floor lavouts as well as being able to read blueprints and floor plans. I have also become more educated on material types and what type of furniture is best for certain spaces.
Thave participated in multiple house calls, in store meetings, and virtual meetings with clients.
My knowledge in this profession has grown immensely throughout my time at Arhaus.
After graduation. I would like to pursue residential design. With the many projects and a residential design internship. I have determined that I like this design type the most. It brings me as well as clients joy when a home is everything someone could imagine it to be with the help of a well rounded and creative designer.
