Lily Ditchendorf
Lily chose to design her practicum project, A Journey’s Rest Dementia Village, a person centered community designed to support dignity and independence for individuals living with dementia. She chose this topic to explore how thoughtful, evidence-based design can improve quality of life in memory care settings. Her key takeaway is that environments promoting familiarity, nature, and social connection significantly enhance resident well-being.
