The Bridge Collective; an affordable housing & community center development

Throughout her time in the Interior Architecture program, Emma has developed a passion for designing spaces that empower individuals to thrive. For her thesis project, she explored the issue of housing affordability, with a focus on young professionals navigating life after graduation.

Through research, she found that stable shelter alone is not enough to fully support well-being. Access to shared spaces, community resources, and opportunities for connection play a vital role in creating stability and growth. A key takeaway from her thesis is that thoughtful design has the power to address social challenges by creating environments that do more than just provide shelter and instead support long-term success.

Moving forward, Emma is open to a range of design directions, with particular interests in hospitality and residential design. She enjoys designing spaces that feel welcoming and intentional, and that support both everyday living and shared experiences.
