External Scholarships

We encourage you to seek outside scholarship opportunities through your high school, parents, employers, community-based organizations, and corporations. If you are receiving a scholarship from an outside source, please endorse the check (if required) and mail it to ATTN: Outside Agency Scholarships, Ohio University, Chubb Hall 020, Athens, OH 45701. Checks can also be dropped off at our office in Chubb Hall, room 020, or placed in the drop box located inside the south entrance doors on the ground floor of Chubb Hall (Court Street side of the building). Please make sure your name and student PID number are listed on all documents. Outside agency scholarship awards of $1,000 or less will be applied fully to fall semester unless otherwise specified by the donor. All other scholarships are divided equally between fall and spring semesters.

FastWEB (Financial Aid Search Through the WEB) is the largest and most complete scholarship search on the Internet. It provides access to a searchable database of more than 400,000 private sector scholarships, fellowships, grants, and student loans available to students.
