2021-2022 Civil Engineering

Hometown: Leesburg, Ohio

Expected Graduation: Spring 2022

Garrett is from a small town 45 minutes west of Chillicothe, Ohio. He has always been intrigued by how the world works around him and the many systems that make it run. It was then destined that Garrett took an early passion for Civil Engineering. He came to Ohio University for the close-knit community and to engage in the Ohio Honors Program. He has loved his time in Athens and loves every second on campus.

In addition to being a Russ College Engineering Ambassador, Garrett is the president for the Ohio Delta Chapter of Tau Beta Pi and is program director for the American Society of Civil Engineers chapter at OHIO. He has served as a resident assistant in both Tiffin Hall and Wilson Hall, helping new Bobcats feel safe and welcome.

Garrett has completed internships at McCarty Associates, LLC in their civil engineering and land surveying departments.

In his free time, Garrett loves to build with Legos, watch Star Wars, and spend time with friends.
