Past Charles J. and Claire O. Ping Recent Graduate Awardees

In 1990, the Alumni Association Board of Directors established the Recent Graduate Award. This award honors recent graduates who have retained an active interest in Ohio University and whose achievements acknowledge the impact of their educational experience.

In 1994, the award was renamed to honor President Emeritus Charles J. Ping, HON ’94, and First Lady Claire O. Ping, HON ’94, for their years of service to Ohio University. The 18th president of Ohio University, Charles Ping served from 1975 to 1994.
