Zanesville Campus

 
In most instances, regional campus students are bound by the dates, deadlines, policies, and procedures as published in the Schedule of Classes. Exceptions and variations applicable to the Zanesville campus are noted below.

NOTICE
Register Early!
Most Zanesville campus classes
are closed for registration
after the second day of classes.


CLOSED CLASSES - WAITING LISTS
If you wish to register for a CLOSED CLASS, go to the Information Center in Elson Hall, sign the waiting list, and pick up a PETITION to enter a CLOSED CLASS. You must attend the first two contact hours of the class and, if an opening occurs, the instructor will admit petitioning students based on their waiting list number.


FEE PAYMENT
Payment can be made at the Information Center by money order, check, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or VISA (NO CASH, PLEASE!).


FINAL EXAMINATION SCHEDULE
Each instructor will inform each class of the final exam day and time at the first class meeting. This information is found on the syllabus.

The final examination schedule for the Zanesville campus will be posted at the Information Center and can also be found at www.zanesville.ohiou.edu/students/finalexam.htm.


IDENTIFICATION CARDS
Identification Cards are available in the Learning Advancement Center.


INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
See special information for international students.


MOTOR VEHICLE REGISTRATION
Motor vehicle registration is NOT required at the Zanesville campus.

While visiting www.zanesville.ohiou.edu, you can also explore tentative course schedules, dates and deadlines, admissions information, and scholarships. SECURITY FEE
A $5.00 security fee is required of all students registered for Zanesville classes.

STUDENT INSURANCE
Student insurance is NOT required at the Zanesville campus but forms for purchasing insurance are available at the Information Center.


Winter QUARTER 2009-10 REGISTRATION ADVISING
Winter quarter advising and scheduling for advising appointments will be available at the Information Center.

Nursing Students:
Admitted nursing students will receive information from the Nursing Office regarding registration meetings. Prospective nursing students call (740) 588-1514 for individual appointments.

Education Majors:
There will be priority registration meetings for education majors. Watch the education bulletin board for dates and times.

DARS reports will be available at the Information Center (watch for availability dates).


TWO-HOUR RULE
Students who miss the first two contact hours of a class may be denied permission to remain in the class. Permission to add a class may also be denied to students who are not attending the class. If you will be absent for the first two contact hours of a class, be sure to notify the instructor and seek permission BEFORE the class.
