
Winter Quarter 1999-2000 Calendar
By registering for classes, a student incurs a legal obligation to pay all fees.
This will be cancelled if the student officially cancels his/her registration BEFORE
January 4, 1999 (the official first day of classes).
Note: Dates are subject to change at the discretion of the Ohio University Board of
Trustees.
Regional Campus students should refer to further information on their campus: Chillicothe, Eastern, Lancaster, Southern, Zanesville .
Monday, October 18
Academic advising begins for Winter Quarter preregistration (contact college/department/regional campus student services office for details)

TRIPS available for Winter Quarter preregistration
(Hours of Operation: 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., every day except Sunday)
This is priority preregistration based on class rank. See your DARS report for your starting time and Registration Access Code (RAC).
Fee Information: Student bills will be mailed approximately November 5, 1999. Fees must be paid on or before December 1, 1999. Payments sent to the post office box or made in person in Athens must be made by check or money order. Wednesday, December 1
Last day to pay fees for Winter Quarter to avoid late payment charge
Reminder: Fees must be paid by the due date even if you have not received a bill! Students who have not paid their fees will not be cancelled but will be charged a $100 late payment fee. If you do not plan to attend Winter Quarter, you must cancel all of your classes by calling TRIPS or by calling the Registrar's Office at (740) 593-4207.

Students who are in attendance by this date but fail to complete all registration procedures must pay a penalty for retroactive registration correction according to this schedule:
January 19 - 28 $ 40 January 31 - February 4 $ 60 February 7 - 11 $ 80 February 14 - 18 $100 Last day to receive partial refund of registration fees (80%) for complete withdrawal from the University
Last day to apply for the pass/fail grading option through your academic dean's student services office or regional campus student services office
Last day to change a grading option (credit to audit/audit to credit or pass/fail to regular grade option/regular grade option to pass/fail)
Last day to add a class
Last day to drop a class without receiving a grade (WP/WF)
Wednesday, January 19
Classes dropped will not remove fees for hours dropped; corrected registration that results in increased hours could increase tuition
Classes dropped will remain on student's academic record with WP/WF
