Tropical Ecology and Natural History in Panama

This study abroad program takes students to Bocas del Toro Panama to observe and study tropical Ecology and Natural History. It is a course that investigates tropical rainforests, coral reefs and a diverse array of unique plant and animal species. Students focus on the ecological process that results in the rich diversity found in tropical habitats.

The field course is highly experiential, and will encompass daily hikes, snorkeling, transect/plot sampling, tree canopy climbing, SCUBA diving a mini-independent study and more!
