Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships
The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships is committed to providing high-quality service to all students and explores all possible financial aid resources with students. For the 2020-21 academic year, Ohio University disbursed more than $233 million in financial aid to almost 20,000 undergraduate students, including $55.1 million in institutional aid. Nearly $15.7 million in scholarships were awarded to admitted freshmen; 81% of OHIO students receiving some form of financial assistance.
Additionally, the office manages the awarding of OHIO’s merit-based and need-based scholarships, and monitors renewability criteria in order to uphold the University’s commitment to supporting students from admission through graduation and beyond.
