Sheil Iyer

Sheil Iyer, currently in his sophomore year at Ohio University, has recently embraced the role of a first-year ambassador with enthusiasm. A proud native of Columbus, Ohio, Sheil is pursuing a degree in Computer Science, delving into the intriguing world of technology and analytical problem-solving. Beyond his scholarly pursuits, Sheil is a student-athlete, contributing his talents to Ohio University’s Men’s Golf Team. One standout memory from his first year on the team was the privilege of playing at Oakmont Country Club during the previous season.  

Looking forward, Sheil’s ambitions extend beyond the confines of computer science. His aspirations include pursuing an MBA, driven by a desire to broaden his horizons within the realm of business. Sheil takes great pride in his ability to inspire and motivate others, and he aspires to cultivate a lasting legacy as an ambassador while laying the foundation for a prosperous and meaningful professional future.  

In his leisure time, Sheil enjoys mystery novels and movies, traveling to new places, and drinking coffee. Some of the cities he has found captivating include Dubai, Florence, and London. He looks forward to collaborating with the other engineering ambassadors through the next year.
