At the Russ College, we’re committed to cultural diversity. We support students, faculty, and staff from groups historically underrepresented in engineering and technology, in addition to providing multicultural programming for all members of the Russ College community. Through targeted recruiting efforts made possible by Russ College endowment funds, outreach to the community, associations for multicultural professionals, and support for students, we strive to continue our tradition of inclusiveness.

You’ll find people of diverse backgrounds, talents, and interests at the Russ College – and a network of students, faculty, and staff to support your path to success. Explore our multicultural, women, and community outreach programs to find the resources you need.

Community Outreach

If you’re a middle- or high-school student in southeastern Ohio and you like math and science, ask your teachers about the national MATHCOUNTS competition. We host this contest every year in February, and it’s a great way to show off your math and science skills while exploring careers in engineering and technology.

Are you a middle school math addict? Show off your skills with MATHCOUNTS. Teams compete against others from their area to test their problem-solving powers. The Russ College hosts the Hocking Valley Regional competition.

To register, visit MATHCOUNTS.
