Bhaven Naik joined Ohio University in August of 2014. Prior to this, he worked with the Mid-America Transportation Center based at the University of Nebraska‐Lincoln as a lecturer and as a post-doctoral research associate. He has also been involved on projects that rely heavily on applying various statistical methods to solve transportation problems, including applied multivariate statistics, regression modeling, and safety analysis.

Research Interests: traffic microsimualtion modelling, highway safety and human factors research, traffic signal system design and optimization, applications of intelligent transportation systems
