Ohio University’s Russ College of Engineering and Technology and the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) are proud to host the 2017 IISE Great Lakes Regional Conference in Athens, Ohio, from February 24-26, 2017. Join us as hundreds of students and professionals from around the region converge to find the “IE” in relief.
During this two-day conference, you’ll learn how you can create for good by using your specialized process improvement skills to benefit our world. Speakers, tours, and student competitions will demonstrate nonprofit applications of industrial engineering methodology. You’ll have the opportunity to attend a variety of sessions focused on the logistics of disaster relief, food bank warehousing and distribution challenges, how to use your IE skills to volunteer with nonprofits, and more.
The event will also include a variety of guest speakers, a formal networking and awards banquet, a technical paper competition, and an industrial engineering-specific career fair.
Registration has been closed.
