Want to see how your math and science skills apply to the real world? Sign up for TEAMS (Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics and Science), a one-day competition for high school students that will show you how engineering touches almost every aspect of your life.

Each year, the Russ College hosts students from area high schools on the Athens campus for the TEAMS competition. They collaborate with teammates to solve real-world challenges by using math and science in practical and creative ways. Past TEAMS challenges have dealt with air transportation, bridge design and rehabilitation, flood analysis, solar-powered vehicles, and food preservation.
