Lucas Bond

Hometown: Ironton, Ohio

At the first glance of the beautiful West Green of Ohio University, Lucas knew he was in the right place. Initially intimidated as a first-generation college student, Lucas quickly overcame his nerves as he was welcomed by the small class sizes and emphasis on teamwork that the Russ College provides. Since high school, Lucas knew that mechanical engineering was the only major for him.

Outside the Engineering Ambassadors, Lucas has been a part of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Human Powered Vehicle Team and is an active member of Brookfield Church in Athens.

In his spare time, Lucas loves spending time with his friends and family, playing music, video games, hunting, fishing, working on cars and riding motorcycles.
