Jesús Pagán worked as a welding engineer for Newport News Shipbuilding, a robotic welding applications engineer for OTC Daihen-USA in Dayton, Ohio, and started his own company Zeus Robotics at the Innovation Center. He later joined the faculty and staff at Ohio University where he has worked for the Institute for Sustainable Energy and the Environment, the Center for Algal Engineering Research and Commercialization, and the Innovation Center as a field engineer for the NIST Hollings Manfacturing Extension Partnership (MEP). He is currently pursuing his doctorate in mechanical engineering.

Research Interests: robotics, energy, additive manufacturing, welding automation
