You must meet the minimum college transfer requirements
(one of which is an earned g.p.a of at least 2.5) to be eligible to
apply for transfer into the School of Information and Telecommunication
Systems. Meeting these requirements does not, however, insure acceptance
into the school since the number of applications may exceed the number
of available openings.
You must complete and submit two forms to transfer into the J. Warren
McClure School of Information and Telecommunication Systems: an ITS
Transfer Application and an Application for Update of Academic Program(s) form. Both forms are available at the School office at 31 S Court Street, Room 143, Athens OH. Or, the ITS Transfer Application can be downloaded and the Application for Update of Academic Program(s) form is available at Student Services Centers or College offices. A current DARS or transcript needs to accompany these two forms.
You may apply for a transfer at any time.
Enrollment in the school is limited to ensure quality
instruction and advising. Other transfer procedures may be adopted
if enrollment should become a problem.
Please feel free to contact the director, Phil Campbell, with questions and concerns. He will be happy to speak to you about the program and your specific needs.
"I can't begin to tell you how glad
I am that I changed majors and became a COMT (now ITS) grad.
I have been taken care of very well by my company and love my line
of work...Things couldn't be any better!!!" -
