The McClure School's faculty combines industry experience with academic training. The majority of the faculty hold doctoral degrees in their fields. Faculty members are active in research and consulting, exploring emerging technical and policy issues in the field.

Recent faculty projects include: experiments with a NASA communications satellite, developing a motor vehicle tracking system that integrates telephone and computer technology for the Ohio Department of Transportation, analysis policy issues related to high-speed Internet access for residential customers, and a study of the impact of the Internet on bookstores.
