Telecommunication professionals, friends, faculty and alumni of the McClure School gathered in Athens on Thursday, September 30 to support the annual scholarship fund benefiting students in the program.
The Thomas Lonsbury Scholarship Golf Classic, named after event organizer, school advisory board member and honorary alumnus Tom Lonsbury, has raised a total of more than $100,000 and awarded eight scholarships. The 2010 scholarship recipient was Matt Bange.
The 10th annual Thomas Lonsbury Scholarship Golf Classic is being
planned for Thursday, September 29, 2011, at the Ohio University Golf Course. A reception will follow at the OU Inn on Richland Avenue. For information, please contact
