"I feel the MCTP program (now MITS program) gave me a distinct advantage in my search for employment. It gave me knowledge and experience in the latest technologies that I continue to use to this day.” --Justin Dyke, Network Consulting Engineer, Advanced Services, Cisco Systems
"I am an expert not only on our technology platform but an experienced project manager who is always willing to learn and apply new concepts. . . . I was pleasantly surprised to find that there were opportunities to learn from working professionals, classes had more interaction than a traditional classroom, and I was able to tailor my career goals from several courses taken and advice given by MCTP (now MITS) professors.” --Nicole Davis, project manager in eBusiness at HSBCBank USA
"MCTP (now MITS) gave me the 'big picture' as well as the specifics of the telecom industry. This has allowed me to become a 'go to' person on a wide range of industry issues,” --Ambrosia Logsdon, Utility Analyst II, Public Utilities Commission of Ohio
"The interviewers were really impressed and surprised by the policy track that I had taken during my grad studies. My new job is literally going to encompass all aspects of telecommunications, which reinforces the fact that MCTP (now MITS) has prepared me for the job market and my AT&T job as well." --Ritesh Sabharwahl, leaving AT&T to become Sr. Network Analyst at Columbian Telecommunications Corporation
"The MCTP (now MITS) program . . . definitely helps me a lot in my current position.” --Andrew Chen, Sr. Software Engineer, PowerNet Global Communications
"All the courses, lab work and assignments I took as a part of the program helped me to understand the basics of telecommunications and build a good foundation. . . . The overall knowledge gained in this program, along with the research, helped me obtain an internship at MCI (now VerizonBusiness) and subsequently a permanent position in the same. The understanding of telecom history gained under the program gave me an insight which has helped me arrive at solutions for various issues faced as part of my job.” --Shweta Agarwal, Specialist Engineer – Internet SW Systems, VerizonBusiness
