This summer I attended the Doug Varone and Dancers Summer Workshop.I took classes from all the company members and Doug Varone himself.I also learned excerpts from the company's repertoire and performed them in our workshop showings.The company performed many of their works including their newest work and works in progress.There were many lecture demonstrations and open talks with the company.I had a wonderful time being completely immersed in this world.I felt like I grew as an artist, not just a dancer.
