Cube 4

The Cube 4 Gallery provides undergraduate artists with an experimental space in which to show their work. The gallery is dedicated to allowing artists to explore and expand on their ideas without any set boundaries. Located on the fourth floor of Seigfred Hall, the gallery is run by the Undergraduate Art League. There are no specific hours for the Cube 4 Gallery, so the School of Art encourages all students to periodically stop by the fourth floor and check out new exhibitions from upcoming artists. ADMISSION IS FREE

Kennedy Museum

The Kennedy Museum of Art is located in historic Lin Hall at The Ridges on the Ohio University campus. Named in honor of Edwin L. and Ruth E. Kennedy, the Museum features significant collections including important southwest Native American textiles and jewelry, and a renowned contemporary print collection. This world-class institution brings to the University and the region a wide range of permanent collection and traveling exhibitions, educational programming, and special tours. The Kennedy Museum is an integral part of the educational, research, and public service missions of Ohio University.

Gallery Hours Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 12- 5pm Thursday 12 - 8pm Saturday and Sunday 1 - 5pm Closed Mondays and Holidays. ADMISSION IS FREE

Ohio University Art Gallery

Ohio University Art Gallery, located in Seigfred Hall on the Fifth Floor, is a 2500 square foot exhibition space. This gallery hosts three to five exhibitions per year of works by nationally and regionally known artists of all disciplines. During the past three years, Steve Rucker, Linda Herritt, Phyllis McGibbon, Harvey Breverman, Xu Bing, Mary Jo Boles, Van McElwee, among many others have had exhibitions in the gallery. In addition, the gallery hosts one or two Ohio University Faculty members, between ten and twenty Master of Fine Arts graduate exhibitions every year, An annual Graphic Design Bachelor of Fine Arts exhibition and an annual juried show of undergraduate artwork. Twice a year the Athens Art Alliance holds Christmas Bazaar and a summer exhibition. Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. ADMISSION IS FREE

Trisolini Gallery

Trisolini Gallery is located on the 4th floor of Baker University Center on the Ohio University Campus. Regional artists have done site installations, Bachelor of Fine Art Thesis Exhibitions. Faculty members from the School of Art also hold individual exhibitions along with special events such as Athens Bead Society and Ohio University Employee exhibition. Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ADMISSION IS FREE




The CREATE_space

The CREATE_space, formerly the Aesthetic Technologies Lab, provides technological resources and expertise for creative research, exploring arts, technology, and entrepreneurship. Residing in the College of Fine Arts Putnam Hall, the CREATE_space is directly accessible for HTC students, graduates, faculty, staff, and undergraduates with faculty support. By offering consultations, workshops, and lectures, along with high-end technologies, the CREATE_space provides the University with an interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary space for creative research.

The goal of The CREATE_space is to develop and nourish a center of local, regional and international prominence both in its intellectual, as well as its artistic/aesthetic contributions.

The CREATE_space at Ohio University is committed to supporting projects in which technology is used to serve artistic merit.

The Athens Center for Film and Video

The Athens Center for Film and Video (ACFV), a unit of the Ohio University College of Fine Arts, supports the development of independent, community and alternative media arts in southeast Ohio. Created in 1979, the center also serves state, national and global communities as an advocate for the greater cooperation between artists, producers and other media arts centers holding similar goals.

Ridges Auditorium

The Ridges Auditorium Building 23

The Ridges Auditorium is a forum style seating auditorium which is used for College of Fine Arts performances, plays, concerts, recitals, lectures and various functions. The Auditorium can be set up either with table seating or the normal/standard audience seating with risers.
