Closing Day: Museum Studies Exhibition
Where: Kennedy Museum of Art, Lin Hall, The Ridges
When: Sunday, Aug 31 1:00 PM
Two Museum Studies Exhibitions, titled Constructing Perspectives and Excessive, are featured in the Museum’s west galleries. Each exhibition was developed by one of two cohorts comprised of Ohio University students enrolled in Museum Fundamentals II, which is a practicum course offering students the opportunity to engage in museum practices. Constructing Perspectives seeks to consider whether boundaries are flexible or impermeable, and to what extent they are negotiated. Excessive explores the relationship between the indulgent fulfillment of perceived needs and the potential detrimental outcomes. Exhibition runs from April 4 - Aug. 31, 2014. Gallery Hours: Mon./Tue./Wed./Fri., 10 a.m- 5 p.m; Thu. 10 a.m- 8 p.m; Sat./Sun. 1 p.m- 5 p.m Closed on University Holidays.
