Student Projects / Workshops
VisCom students and faculty are consistently hosting or participating in special projects and workshops around the country and world. Some are on-campus and offered as a course, others are selective opportunities to travel and collaborate with students from other universities. In all of the opportunities, students get exposed to fresh thinking, spaces, people and ideas.
SOUL OF ATHENS
Soul of Athens is an annual collaborative project with contact producers, including photojournalists, writers, social media specialists, infographics, and interactive designers. This class, which first started in 2007, is offered for credit.

An international data visualization conference, this workshop is offered to selected students to collaborate with top colleges and universities from around the world. This conference was hosted in 2018 in Venice, Italy, and in the fall of 2019, was hosted by the School of Visual Communication at Ohio University.
