Sports Photography for Communication Certificate

The undergraduate Sports Photography for Communication Certificate integrates Visual Communication with Sports Management and Marketing, equipping students with the creative and strategic skills needed for careers in the sports industry.

Designed for individuals passionate about sports and media, the program provides a strong foundation in branding, digital content creation, fan engagement, and sponsorship marketing.

Admissions Requirements

Admission to the Sports Photography for Communication Certificate requires an application and interview approval with the School of Visual Communication Photojournalism instructor.

Program applicants must own or have constant access to a full-frame professional digital camera and at least one lens that has an aperture of f/2.8 or greater.

Courses & Curriculum

The Sports Photography for Communication Certificate requires a minimum of 21 credit hours with an overall GPA of 2.5 or better.
