As an Information Design Researcher and Cartography Designer at Ohio University, I specialize at the intersection of visual storytelling and spatial data visualization. My work focuses on transforming complex data into compelling narratives that expand our understanding of human and natural environments. With a background as a Cartography, GIS, and Architecture professor in El Salvador and a former trainee at National Geographic Magazine, I bring a global perspective to mapping. My current research explores innovative AI-driven workflows to create, automate, and visualize data through engaging and dynamic infographics and geovisualizations.
