Chubu University: Kohei Miura Visiting Professorship

Overview of city

Every year since 1973, OHIO and Chubu University have exchanged faculty members through a visiting professors program, providing students and professors the unique opportunity of having a truly international learning experience. Faculty members who come to OHIO from Chubu University are called Robert Glidden Visiting Professors. OHIO faculty members who travel to Chubu University are Kohei Miura Visiting Professors – named in honor of the founder of Chubu University.

Kohei Miura Visiting Professors are expected to engage in an active program of scholarship that may include activities such as engaging in research activities, giving guest presentations in classes and seminars, conducting independent study programs with students and/or professors, participating in outreach activities, and acting as consultants in areas of expertise.
