Work with Tantrum Theater

Tantrum Theater is a professional theater company at Ohio University, bringing guest artists from across the country to create with students, faculty, and staff in the School of Theater. Our productions operate under an AEA U/RTA Tier 1 contract and are built around the expectations of professional practice.

Artists who work with Tantrum become part of a company committed both to the work on and offstage and to the development of the next generation of theater artists. Based in Athens, Ohio, Tantrum offers the opportunity to create exceptional professional theater in a supportive environment while contributing to the cultural life of Southeast Ohio.
