Qiuping Cao

Dr. Qiuping Cao holds the MEd in Early Childhood Education from University of Victoria, and the PhD in Elementary Education with a concentration in Early Childhood from State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Cao served as the coordinator for the Early Childhood Education program and the Child Development program at Lancaster Campus from 1995-2019. She has taught over 15 different courses including Child Development; Guidance and Management; Family School, and Community; Philosophy and Theories of Child Development; Principles and Practice of Curriculum, and Internship and Seminar. Her major research interests include project-based learning and teacher mentoring. Dr. Cao has authored or co-authored 17 publications in Chinese and English and given over 50 presentations on various topics of research and teaching at local, regional. national and international conferences over the last 40 years.
