Ohio University and the City of Dublin are partnering on a health-related speaker series focused on relevant health topics that can benefit the surrounding community.
This series includes two programs each academic year — one in the spring and one in the fall — and is free for anyone to attend.

Presentation by Dr. Dustin Grooms and Dr. Brett Peters, specialists with Ohio University’s College of Health Sciences and Professions, College of Arts and Sciences and Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Brett Peters will highlight the fascinating world of psychological influences on your everyday relationships and how stress gets “under your skin” to influence how you think, feel, and act in social interactions.
This program will explore how researchers quantify interpersonal stress and what that means for healthy living. Building on the psychology theme Dr. Dustin Grooms will explore how stress influences athletic performance and injury, showcasing the latest interventions using new technologies such as virtual reality and brain imaging.
