Human Development and Family Science Faculty & Staff
Faculty in Ohio University's Department of Social and Public Health are committed to teaching, mentorship, and student success. Department faculty have received some of the university’s highest honors for teaching and graduate mentorship, including the University Professor, Presidential Teacher, and Outstanding Graduate Faculty awards.
In addition to teaching, faculty members conduct research and scholarship that addresses important issues in gerontology, family systems, and community outreach. Their work informs policy, strengthens community programs, and advances knowledge in their fields.
Students benefit from these connections through experiential learning opportunities, internships, and applied projects that provide hands-on experience in professional settings.
