Spring 2025 Series: Empowering Students Through Innovative Design
The CTLA announces a spring 2025 workshop series, "Empowering Students Through Innovative Design." This series provides faculty and instructional staff with practical tools and techniques to enhance student engagement and learning. The workshops introduce unexpected strategies that instructors can use in their courses, assignments, and instructional materials to effectively engage students, foster critical thinking, and promote active learning.
Workshops in the series will cover a range of topics, including storytelling in the classroom, designing multi-section courses, leveraging alumni for student engagement, and utilizing peer-to-peer feedback.
All workshops will be held in person in the CTLA collaboratory, with remote participation available via Teams. Join us for an opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from across the university as you explore new teaching techniques, share best practices, and develop innovative strategies to enhance student engagement.
